Border Care Ltd is a Domiciliary Care Provider based in Kington, and covering the areas of North West Herefordshire and South East Powys.
We support people who, because of increasing age, illness or disability, may need some extra help to manage their day to day lives.
Border Care Ltd provides care services to both private and social services funded clients.
About Our Manager.
Our manager Lorna Ross, has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the Health and Social Care sector.
Lorna holds the Registered Manager's position in Border Care Ltd, and is also the named Nominated Individual, as required by the Care Quality Commission.
Before qualifying as a Registered Nurse at the University of Worcester, Lorna worked as a local domiciliary care worker, and as a Staff Nurse in a local residential / nursing home.
Lorna currently works part-time as a nurse in the NHS.
About Our Carers......
Our care workers are carefully selected, and undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Each staff member completes a comprehensive induction programme, which includes the Care Certificate where necessary.
Border Care Ltd values continuous professional development for all its staff.
Our care workers are all fully directed and supervised by the management team, who carry out regular quality monitoring processes, in line with CQC requirements.
